This week, we're doing something a bit different. Instead of the usual long-form conversation with a guest, I decided to highlight some past guests and their music. What I've put together is a collection of alternate performances (an artist will record two or three tunes when we get together) and new studio material from artists that wasn't completed yet when we talked. My father's 60th birthday was this last weekend, so I travelled home with my wife (of eight and half years, whi...

Another year's end is upon us and that means taking stock of all kinds of things. Accomplishments, relationships, personal growth. And records. Lots and lots of records. Oh, the records that came out this year.

I am so very pleased to offer up the first in what is hopefully many year-end music shows. I sat down in the kitchen/studio with three guys who I've known and worked with as a musician, but also three guys whose tastes and leanings were all different from my own. They are, in no particular order: Bill Rose of The Standing Cinema, Jay Verdibello...
